Encaustic Cement

Encaustic tiles are one of the oldest and most traditional methods for creating patterns on a tile. These concrete designs have been around since 19th century when they were first developed, but there has been little change in their making process over time! The colors come from mineral pigments mixed together before being poured into molds that create each unique design.  Beneath every pattern lies an intricate mix-and -match assortment of color meant solely to please your eyes (and ours).

Cement tiles are made from natural materials and must be sealed with a good quality penetrating sealer like Stain Proof.
