It’s made from more refined clay which gives it an extra hard finish after enduring higher temperatures in a kiln than regular ceramic tile does!

Is one better than the other?  They are both great products.   My preference is porcelain for flooring and ceramic for walls.   Porcelain tile is a fantastic choice for high traffic or areas with excessive moisture.
